Mature Student Application Steps
1. Deadlines
Mature student applicants must submit online and/or hard copy application within the following timeframes:

2. OUAC Application
All applications for undergraduate studies at Trent University must go through OUAC (www.ouac.on.ca/105). OUAC charges a non-refundable $135 base application fee and a supplemental fee of $65 for Canadian transfer students or $90 for international transfer students, to be paid in full at the time of application

After reviewing your application and supporting documentation, the Admissions Committee may request an admissions interview to discuss the combination of educational and professional experience.
If you have a diagnosed physical, learning or psychiatric disability, you may want to contact the Office of Disability Services.
Apply On-Line
All applications for undergraduate studies at Trent University must go through OUAC. Visit www.ouac.on.ca/105. OUAC charges a non-refundable $135 base application fee and a supplemental fee of $65, to be paid in full at the time of application.
OUAC will ask you to create an account and will provide you with a P.I.N. (personal identification number), which allows you to access your account and application.
What Happens Now?
Application Received
Once your completed application has reached Trent through OUAC, Trent will mail you a small package as well send you an email (to the email address listed in your OUAC application) as an official acknowledgement of your application.
The package and email will list important next steps for you regarding the Trent University application and admissions process. Some important steps to think about include: reviewing your program requirements and the accuracy of your OUAC application, setting up your MyTrent account, tracking your application, researching funding opportunities at Trent, among other great information.

Coming to see Trent is the best way to make sure it is the right place for you. Trent hosts several Open Houses throught the year, including a tour and the opportunity to meet professors, sample a few classes and get a feel for student life. Aboriginal Applicants
If you self-identify as a student of Aboriginal ancestry and are interested in applying to the Indigenous Diploma Programs, you must first apply through OUAC. The Indigenous Diploma Program is offered for applicants of Indigenous heritage who may not have taken a traditional academic path towards post-secondary education.
