Say hello to Lady Eaton College!

Lady Eaton College was established in 1968 and is named in honour of Flora McCrea Eaton, one of Trent University’s original sponsors who helped support the university during it’s founding.

Through its many facilities the college encourages its students to interact within its community while maintaining an international atmosphere. Many students living abroad, as part of Trent’s TIP program, will find themselves staying at Lady Eaton so get involved at LEC and learn more about that international flavor!

The College can be located against the drumlin, a hilly collection of trails and paths, which acts as the backdrop of Trent University. Take a walk and explore, it’s open to all students.

Come and visit the student-run coffee shop the Magpie! As well as the illustrious Lady Eaton dining hall, the only college on campus serving board meals to bring back that feeling of being at home!

Feeling artistic? Lady Eaton holds annual art exhibitions throughout the college for students to show off their work. The exhibits are held once again in honor of Lady Eaton who contributed her own collection of Inuit artwork to the college.

Become part of an active and inspirational student government. Write for The Drumline a Lady Eaton student publication, and learn more about how you can get involved and embrace the LEC community!
